What is Terminal Care?
Terminal care is assistance aimed at alleviating physical and mental distress for anyone approaching end of life.
Perspective
We provide perspective for everyone involved at this challenging time, from the patient for whom we care to the family and friends around them. We work to fully explain the medical situation to all involved, and to ensure a calm and natural conclusion.
Specific support content
Physical care
We conduct regular checks of all vital signs (body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate), improve the environment around the bed, promote peaceful, considered comfort and provide sanitary and pain relief and support.
Mental care
We work to limit physical distress, make considered requests for privacy, and manage physical changes and mental instability, treating them in a timely manner.
Medical practice
Home care staff with Indonesian nurse qualifications will respond according to the instructions of the doctor. The extent to which medical practice in home care is possible is clarified by consulting with a doctor about the physical and mental conditions of each individual.
Start
If the doctor diagnoses that there is no possibility of further recovery based on generally accepted medical knowledge and it is judged that there is little need for medical institution, the doctor will explain to the user or family that the decision was made. We will do it, and we will carry out with consent to spend in the future with end-of-life nursing and long-term care.
Implementation
As a general rule, nursing care and long-term care will be provided in a private room. Home care and family will ensure 24-hour mutual contact. All home care staff will cherish the thoughts of the users and strive to provide physical and mental support so that they can reach their peaceful end as a human being.
Emergency contact order
Home care staff in charge ⇒ Home care leader and service provider ⇒ Doctors and family members ⇒ Emergency visits or hospital transportation arrangements. Based on the above system, the order may change from time to time.
Basic fee for nursing / nursing care
Nursing care special fee 800,000Rp / day * The fee is subject to change without notice.
<Note> Drugs (injections, infusions, etc.) that the doctor deems necessary, other daily necessities, hygiene products, luxury items, and transportation costs for transportation will be charged at the actual cost.
